About the Museum
Why
– and How - Does This Museum Exist?
The Daisy Museum is a 501(C)(3)
non-profit corporation with a mission of preserving,
improving, displaying and presenting an amazing
collection of Daisy airguns and memorabilia. We
provide museum tours, operate a premier tourist
attraction and gift shop in Historic Downtown
Rogers, AR, and we built a 25-foot tall “World’s
Largest Daisy BB Gun” that stands adjacent to our
building – as a photo op for people who visit our
area.
Our board of directors includes
three retired Daisy executives, a fourth-generation
Daisy manager, an insurance administrator, a bank
trust company executive, a retired police chief, and
a planning, design, surveying firm executive – all
who support and volunteer their expertise and wisdom
because our museum is important to them.
Our
long-term goal is to perpetuate this museum for many
more generations with the average annual asset
improvement on our growing foundation under-writing
a significant portion of operating expenses. That’s
why we’re embarking on a $1 million capital
campaign.
Whether you are a veteran, a backyard plinker who is
passing the tradition down to a child or grandchild,
a proud hunter or an accomplished marksman, your
first gun was, likely, a Daisy BB gun. If these
things are important to you, we want you to
prayerfully consider
a
gift to this non-profit museum.
As a museum not likely to
garner a large government grant, we depend on
members of the outdoor sports and shooting sports
community, on our Friends of the Daisy Museum, on
our local corporations, on Daisy retirees……frankly,
we depend on YOU!
We Need Your Help.
1. Continue to make
purchases using the
“SHOP”
link. Consider our exclusive
limited edition
guns for yourself or as a gift.
2. Become a
“Friend of the
Daisy Museum” – we offer several
levels of membership.
3. Remember the Daisy
Museum each year when you make your end of
the year charitable
donations.
4. If you are a
business owner or if you influence your
employer’s decisions to support non-profits,
talk to your management about including the
Daisy Airgun Museum for a one-time gift or a
five consecutive years’ gift.
5. Make a decision
today that will help something important to
you to exist tomorrow. Talk to your family
and your estate planner about making a final
wishes gift through your will…..and please
let us know if you do this.
