Daisy Museum Issues
Reproduction of the first Daisy! |
|
1,000 serially-numbered,
fully-functional replicas of the
Plymouth Iron Windmill Company’s
wirestock “Daisy” guns have now
been assembled. This is the gun
which Clarence Hamilton handed
to general manager L.C. Hough.
When Hough fired the gun, he
turned to Hamilton and said,
“That’s a Daisy!”. It was a
saying in those days. But the
name stuck. The gun, although
made by the Plymouth Iron
Windmill Co. was marked “Daisy”.
The company didn’t change its
name to Daisy Manufacturing
until 1895. And, as they say,
the rest is history……a long 120+
year history. |

Copy of the original Patent |

These guns were first
offered a few months ago to our “Friends
of the Daisy Museum”. Now that we have
allocated those Friends’ guns and either
shipped or are in the process of
shipping them, we are opening up this
issue to the general public!
|
Every
effort has been made to replicate
original parts and packaging. The
plunger is even wrapped with waxed
candle wicking. The gun is packaged with
a reproduction of an early ad, target,
shot, collectible medallion and
certificate of authenticity.
The price
of the gun is $300.00 per gun plus a
flat $12.00 per gun for shipping and
handling. You may also request
additional guns. (Some have purchased
ten guns!) . |

Antique Gun with Drawing |
We encourage you to act
quickly! There is no doubt that most
shooters and hunters took their first
shot with a Daisy. This is the gun that
started it all….the first Daisy.
$300 each
plus $12 flat shipping and handling fee
